About

A specialist firm for a new category.

Vercon was founded on a simple observation: the security perimeter has moved into the conversation itself. AI agents now answer calls, take intake, escalate to humans, and authorize actions on behalf of organizations. The controls those workflows lean on were not built for the threat environment they now sit in.

A dimly lit operations room with monitors showing waveforms, network graphs, and a world map

We work with operations leaders, security teams, and executives at organizations whose communications channels are part of how they create value: contact centers, restoration firms, healthcare networks, legal intake teams, and AI voice-agent providers.

Our engagements produce executive-readable assessments, framework-aligned remediation plans, and adversarial test reports that operations teams can act on. We do not sell software. We are not a managed service. We are a small consulting firm that has chosen to get one category right.

We are deliberately conservative about what we say in public about our clients and outcomes. Discretion is part of the work.

Principles
  • Workflow first

Most communications risk is a workflow design problem, not a tooling problem.

  • Adversarial by default

If it has not been tested under attack, it is not hardened.

  • Executive readable

If leadership cannot act on it, the report is not finished.

  • Honest about limits

We will tell you when a control is theater. We will also tell you when it is enough.

A Vercon Communications Security Assessment gives you an executive-readable risk report and a prioritized remediation roadmap, usually inside of four weeks.
